I need advice. What do I do?

What do you do when your 10 year old is sneaky and a liar and when he’s caught he threatens to tell the school your abusing him because he’s in trouble? I’m fed up at this point. Mind you I had to install cameras because how much he lies. I think this kid is serious psychotic he abuses animals tried to set my cat on fire to the point where I had to give her away and I feel like my only option is putting him in a hospital therapy doesn’t work medication doesn’t work and I’m tired. He likes to hurt his little brother and now I’m pregnant with another baby and I’m honestly growing afraid of this child not for myself but for the younger children I have. My 3 year old be having red marks random scratches and I think he’s afraid of his brother because any time the 10 year old goes around him he’s always screaming and crying. I need real advice because I’m ready to just be done with him.

Get him evaluated for in patient care. He hurts his brother, constantly misbehaves, AND HE TRIED TO SET YOUR CAT ON FIRE. That is sadistic. He needs help and your other children deserve a safe home. I have a cousin who had to be put in a facility around the same age. What will you do when he is bigger and stronger than you are? What will HE do when he is bigger and stronger than you are?

Do whatever u feel will help ur his mother keep taking him to the doctors about things so it’s all on record and inform the school of his issues in case he hurts another student or reports you at least they are aware of his behaviour has he had any diagnosis ?

I would definitely do inpatient. It is not fair for your other child to live in fear where he should feel safe. Im sorry your family are experiencing this. Sometimes going inpatient helps to find the right medication and treatment to put him in a more stable state before he returns home.

First of all, I’m so sorry that you are experiencing this❤️It’s good that you’re are recognizing that there are some major issues and want to take steps to manage everything and heal. Most people are suggesting in-patient, but in addition to that, you and your whole family should be in some sort of family counseling to work through this together. Other things to do would be to get your water checked for lead, if you aren’t already involved in what your kid is being exposed to technology-wise then get involved, and perhaps get a neurologist involved as well.

My friend going though that with her 10yr too she lied so dss was called claimstheres family of rats poop all over the placeand the twins babys are eating it cus theres no food it the house etc its so bad that mom thinks that cops will get involved in someway or she would go to jail by time she turned 18yr!! My friend thinking about sending her away for the summer brake  she didnt say much on what it is what they will do but im assuing whatever it is should help 10yr she sais that 3 months to long personally i dont think so especially since the 10yr needs help will all the crap she been doing
