My son wants to be homeschooled

I think he's being dramatic. My son is 16 and he's a sophomore but he's been held back. He went to junior prom with his girlfriend because she's a junior. He ended up having a senior. They believe the seizure was caused from the Wellbutrin they recently put him it. It's very rare to have a seizure from Wellbutrin but it happened to him. He has a seizure at prom. He's upset because seizures can cause your body to release fluid which he did. He also hit his head on a table and busted it open. So he had to get stitches. It was a horrible prom. We are home. He's resting but he said he had to be homeschooled now. He wants to be homeschooled bc he is humiliated from what happened during prom. His prom is ruined and he's embarrassed. But he gets like 2 more proms after this. His junior prom and then senior prom. Technically 3 because he can go to his girlfriend's senior prom if they're still together. He can have better prom memories. And I think he's overreacting. Honestly he's gotten so many get well soon cards and stuff from kids at his school. I don't think anyone cared that he peed himself. I think they care that he had a seizure, busted his head open and there was blood everywhere.n Would you even entertain this request because I feel he's being traumatic
