My husband locked out 13 year old out of the house last night

I'm stressed out and angry. My husband and my 13 year old son don't get along because my 13 has lost all respect for us. Mainly my husband because of my husband's drinking problem. My husband won't get help. He keeps saying he doesn't have an issue but he has showed up to our kids school drunk. My 13 year old calls his dad by his first name and calls him a fucking drunk which I do try to correct because that is your father. My 13 year old has been slowly losing respect for us. He got his ears pierced by a friend behind our back. He has also started just leaving the house when my husband is arguing with him.

My husband got drunk yesterday while I was working a night shift and my 13 year old and him were arguing. My 13 year old left the house. My husband told him if he leaves the house he's gonna be locked out until morning. My 13 left. Came back an hour or so later and my husband had locked him out. My 13 year old did not have a phone. Around 4am he went to find a neighbor to try to call me and one of our neighbors called the police too. I showed up before the police. My husband and I argued. My husband got defensive saying he was teaching a lesson.

My husband isn't just a drunk. He's a dumbass because when the police got here my husband said "Is it illegal to lock out a 13 year teenager overnight when they chose to leave the house?" The cops said "Yes. That's very illegal. That's child endangerment." My husband stumbles over his words and then tries to run from the cops. It was so embarrassing. He got arrested last night on child endangerment charges. I know the easy answer is to leave. But it's hard when you've been together so long and have kids together.
