Hsg experience? Success stories?

Question

I’ve done multiple round of timed intercourse with letrezole or clomid and ovidrel with no success. So next step I’m gonna take is an hsg and if everything is clear we will try a couple iui cycles. Anyone have any success stories after their hsg? I’ve heard if you have a minor blockage it can flush it out and that pregnancy rates increase in general in the first 3 cycles after it. I’m also worried it’ll be painful though. So nervous 😅😭😭😭

I had one after 18 months of trying. It was very chill. Wasn’t painful and was a really cool procedure to watch on the screen. Your uterus and fallopian tubes light up with the fluid they inject and they can see if there are any blockages.  My dr called it “clearing out the cobwebs” I had no blockages and I got pregnant 2 months later

I’ve had over 7 HSG done, no pregnancy directly after any of them. Pregnancy rates can increase because as you stated some could have a sort of blockage and having the procedure done can push through that blockage causing those woman to conceive. As for pain, non of mine have ever been painful, it’s a bit uncomfortable, can experience cramping, spotting, feeling of pressure but generally shouldn’t hurt. There are women who say it’s been extremely painful and a lot of those had some degree of blockage. You can take medication prior to it to try and help.
