8w5d but baby is 7 weeks and no heartbeat

Has anyone experienced this and still baby was there?

I’ve had no cramping or bleeding and I feel fine. She is so much bigger than last time. But the doctor couldn’t find a heartbeat. She’s always measured small since the beginning and we definitely heard the heartbeat when I was 6w3d but she was measuring at five. The doctor said it was normal. That babies grew on their own timeline. I’m looking for a miracle here and I’m hoping that somebody has experienced this and then came back a week later and the baby was fine. Have you ever had an ultrasound where you couldn’t hear the heartbeat at eight weeks and still the baby was fine? The father said he wished something would happen against my will for me to lose the baby that afternoon before the appointment. I’m really trying not to fall in despair.
