Progestrone and cramping?

So im bout 3-4 weeks pregnant and my progestrone was 7.2 do they started me on 100mg of progestrone vaginally every night. My hcg levels have doubled the last 72 hours so the baby is doing ok rn but every night I start to cramp for like a hour or 2 until I get the progestrone in. Do you think I maybe need to take it twice a day? Or is the cramping normal? It makes me worried like once I start cramping if I dont take it quick enough ill loose the baby. But usually it stops once I put the insert in for the night.
