Any advice?

Hubby and I have been trying small but never succeed. It hurts me a lot whenever we try. The worst part is that we both really want to try is not one sided. He tells me not to worry about it as it’s meant to be an exit not entrance. But, I honestly do want to keep  trying bc when do some play I really like it. Any tips on how to make it work?

It is all about relaxation, lubrication, and pacing.
Take a warm bath, maybe get a massage from your partner until you are fully relaxed, and/or get a vaginal/clitoral orgasm first
Use plenty good quality lube made for anal. Vaginal lubes may be too light for anal play.
Start slow and small. A finger or thin anal plug. Always make sure that any toy has a flange to prevent it from being sucked in to where you can’t get it out! Slowly work up to a bigger finger or toy.

I’ve seen comments on posts like these before they say to relax and use lots of lube. Other than that, I’m no help. 😅
