Question

So I have a consultation with a midwife next week. I’ve had cramping on an off, no bleeding and only on one side. I’m supposedly 6w+3d according to my app with my cycle. I’m not sure if I should wait for the consultation or call the dr and schedule an ultrasound at an actually clinic.

Could be normal, I had severe cramping and had to be put on progesterone supplements that helped support my pregnancy. If you start seeing any spotting call Dr, or if it gets to be more painful than a period. Otherwise, could just be your uterus making room for the little baby!! And if it’s on one side, it’s possible you have a small ovarian cyst or something that won’t affect your pregnancy!

Is it mild or severe? Cramping is normal for early pregnancy but severe one sided cramping can be an indication of ectopic pregnancy. If it’s severe definitely get checked. Mild cramping is often just your uterus starting to grow (round ligament pain)
