his sister attacked me.

I know I will get hate for this, but I’m not sure what to do from here.

Long story short, my partners sister (16) was caught somewhere where she shouldn’t have been at 2 am.

After we brought her home she started causing a scene in nearby their home with my partner, she was being very disrespectful and my partner was letting it happen so I definitely wasn’t okay with her trying to insult him or disrespect him so I had told her “please respect your brother as he is older than you and I’m not liking how you are treating him rn” and it just flipped a switch in her head and she had started to come my way.

She mouthed off at me, used a bunch of slurs and even mentioned my family and my child. She was talking about my child terribly. And then proceeded to try and swing at me.

I had pulled back so she didn’t get me at all but it set me off and I had swung back at her. A fight had occurred.

I understand I shouldn’t have done what I did, but she had mentioned my child and spoke so bad on her that it angered me and then she had got into my face and attempted to swing at me.

I could not hold my anger back at that point and I blacked out.

My partner took out everything on me, and put my down and said I was the only one at fault and she didn’t do anything at all. I understand that’s his little sister, but she was asking for it based off her actions.

He is now telling me how he’s leaving me for good and doesn’t see me as the same no more and that I don’t love him because I had done that. He has told me “you ruined my life”

I’m now just not sure what to do next.
