What are actual essentials?

I’m 27 weeks pregnant with baby #4 I feel like with all my other babies I just went crazy buying sooo much stuff. This is my 2nd boy so what in y’all’s opinion are the essentials you need?

Diapers, wipes, baby detergent, baby wash, just the basics. I have my sons two years apart I bought a couple things here and there.

Diapers, wipes, car seat, clothes, & a safe place for baby to sleep is absolute minimum. 
I’d also have on hand a thermometer, baby meds, burp cloths, muslin blankets, & a stroller or baby carrier.

Besides the basics some things that really came in handy for me were a booger picker, fan (comes in super handy in TX heat), I loved Velcro swaddles for both my boys, bottle warmer, rolling cart to put mittens, burp cloths etc to have everything nearby for night feedings.
