Is this bad

Hello I recently began dating one of my former students uncle. We were already friends on social media. However he went to the kids graduation and realized that I was the girl on fb. He's really nice so far and I'm just concerned that this can look bad . I didn't pursue anything till the summer . The child is no longer in my class, we are both 30 years old. However I can't help to feel like I shouldn't have done this .especially if we let things get more serious and more steamy .
