Help my nipple burn

I am 35 and for last two years sometimes my nipples feel like they are on fire. A painful burning sensation. It’s off /on I feel like it happens around ovulation and possible around my period. It’s been a few days now and usually last 1-2 days so don’t know what it’s like day 4 . Why? My doc brushed me off whenever I’ve complained about it . The first time she examined them and thought I wasn’t at risk for breast cancer . So . Is Themis a fertility thing .? Like my body telling me it wants a baby .
