Late period due to Implant?

So I'm 18. I was previously on the pill, but recently came off that and went onto the implant as a more effective long lasting form of birth control to help regulate my body. I'm not sexually active.

I got the implant inserted last week.

My period was supposed to start on the 1st of March, it is currently 4 days late but the problem I'm having is that I'm still getting every symptom, cramps, appetite, hot flashes through my body (which hasn't happened before) and other period symptoms, but no bleeding.

Can this just be due to the fact that I got the implant put in, or should I speak with my doctor?
