Does your husband have any close female friends?

Question

Close female friends, meaning women he goes out with for drinks, dinner etc. If so, are they old friends or new? Do you think it makes a difference? For example, do you mind if he makes new female friends through work and goes out just the the two of them?  How has it impacted your relationship (if at all)?

He doesn't have neither, and I don't either. We have acquaintances but we're way past that stage. If we go to dinner, it's always him and I and our friends with their respective partners

I don’t think it’s appropriate tbh. To each their own and I don’t judge but my husband and I have a rule to never be alone by choice w the opposite sex. Not bc I don’t trust him or vise versa but it also keeps others from speculating/starting rumors. If he did have a childhood friend or something I’d be ok w them hanging out but there’s no reason they’d need alone time. It opens up a door for her to say something, or someone else to say something and then you’d have a scandal. It’s best for everyone to encourage mutual friendship if you are married.

Yeah, He’s close with my friends and will often hang out with them with out me around. I’m often not far behind, but they’re one on one. Like my friends will come over and my husband will entertain them/hang out while I’m in the shower, or putting my daughter down. Some times I’ll have a friend pick something up and my husband will let them in and they’ll hang for an hour and catch up while I’m not home. We’ve all been friends for like 15-20 years. Our spouses are best friends too. So I do the same thing with my friends husbands. I’d consider them my friends vs my friends spouses.

He did. She was a mother figure to him, about 10 years older, met him when he was a teen and she was an adult. 
That was until she asked for his help with her pc (nothing unusual) and when he got there, opeaned the door in loungerie. She knew he was with me, although we had never met lol.
He has no contact with her now for obvious reasons🙃.

Nope. No acquaintances either, for either of us. The friends we do have are mutual & we go out as couples only.

My husband has a couple female friends he’s known since childhood and I don’t have a problem with them. Life has been busy so they only text to catch up every once in a while. 
There hasn’t and never will be one on one lunch “dates” or other weird couple-y things going on between them though. To me there is no valid reason for them to be alone together and he doesn’t have an issue with it. Same goes for me and my male friends.

He has a few. The one he is closest with is also my best friend. So we are always out together.
He has a very good female colleague but not someone he sees privately at all.
But his social needs is also extremely low. He could easily be a hermit honestly..

My fiancé does have 1 female friend but they have been friends since they were teenagers. I’m also friends with her but she has a different type of friendship with each of us.

If they’ve been friends since childhood I’d probably overlook it but definitely wouldn’t be okay with new female friends.
