Controlling family

Does anyone else’s family members try to control the way you parent or is it just mine? Not to mention when they are holding him or spending time with him they completely disrespect and disregard when I ask them to do things a certain way I’m just ignored or told he’s fine. Why do people do this? I get they have kids but everyone parents differently, and the fact I’m disrespected when I want my son to be held or fed a certain way or not held at all is really starting to get to me. Any tips on how to control this?
