I Don’t Get It

How can you lay next to your partner, tell them you love them, and just all of that knowing that you are cheating on them. It goes for men and women. If you want to cheat why waste your partner’s time instead of just letting them go and saving them from the embarrassment? It doesn’t matter how you cheat, you cheated and that’s that so why not leave? It’s something I honestly don’t understand and why is it seen as so normal. And don’t even get me started on the “I just wanted to know what it was like.”
