I don’t understand comments that tell her she need to compromise or to push him to compromise. maybe im just a bitch but if my husband was being selfish and childish like her husband, i'm not going to waste my time trying to get him to compromise. i would just pick a name without his help🤷🏻‍♀️

Is there a reason you don’t want to use his dads name? Not saying you have to but wondering why.

You need to compromise for sure. 
Don’t just give in. I was 17 when I got pregnant w my first & the dad was super controlling & kind of pulled the same crap on me. Telling me he’s going to be named after him. I didn’t want to deal with arguing w him so I just gave in, but I regretted it. I still kind of regret it now & it’s been 7 years. I decided we would call him “CJ” as a nickname & that’s what I’ve literally called him his whole life, but he is to the age where he wants to be called his full name because that’s what they call him in school. You need to find a name you both like! & he needs to drop the stubbornness.. it’s not his way or the highway. It’s BOTH of your child. But definitely do not just give in if it’s not what you want. My son’s father passed away so I am a little grateful he is named after his father because it makes him feel good.. but if that wasn’t the case I’d honestly still be unhappy about it. The name is for their entire life, you need to like it.

Dang. He needs to compromise… it’s a 2 person thing here… you choose one name and he chooses another. One for first name and one for middle name.

Did his dad die or something? I get it being important to him, but marriage is about compromise and it is both of y'all's baby. Ultimatums are usually issued by immature people. 
I assume he refused having it be a middle name. 
He can choose not to participate, and that's his choice, but he doesn't get to be upset about the outcome. I'd call his bluff.
