Hello 👋 nothing really exciting except that I’ve moved somewhere new. Starting the adventures of potty training that’s going horribly 🥲. Going on a family vacation and maybe to a vow renewal with kids. The in laws wanted the kids there so that’ll be interesting 😶

I'm on my second watching of Ginny and Georgia right now. I find it very comforting for some reason lol, I think because it reminds me of the Gilmore Girls, although it tackles deeper subjects like self harm, depression, and sexual abuse so trigger warning for those subjects. But despite that, its still mostly a fun, light hearted show. I also started the second season of Russian Doll this weekend. I tried to watch it a while back but it didnt grab me for some reason. I loved the first season so much and binged it in a weekend. Natasha Lyonne is wonderful, I love her so much, so I'm hoping the second season hooks me soon! On a food related note, does anyone have any ideas for tzatziki sauce? I made homemade pita bread and slow cooked beef seasoned with a spice mix bought from a local middle eastern market (results were...meh) with a big batch of tzatziki sauce tonight. Toooo much tzatziki sauce, so would welcome suggestions on how to use the rest of it in the next couple of days!

I love using Tzatziki as salad dressing or even on sandwiches. I do a hummus and cheese sandwich with a bunch of chopped veggies. Topped with tzatziki and hot sauce. On fresh bread you are making too???!? Buen provecho!

Ohhhh falafel, good idea! My kitchen is stocked with canned chickpeas because I like a steady supply of roasted chickpeas to snack on, but ive never tried to make homemade falafel. I may attempt this tomorrow! Ill report back with the results haha

I’ll have to watch Russian Doll. I really like Natasha Lyonne too. I just rewatched But I’m a Cheerleader. She’s so good in it. I usually use tzatziki for falafel or Greek salad sandwiches. Basically everything you’d have in a Greek salad, except dumped in a pita.

What’s everyone watching right now? I’m hyped about my recommendation, and looking forward to others if anyone wants to share. If someone asked me my least favorite genre, I’d probably say horror, but here I am recommending yet another horror themed show… So, Yellowjackets? Anyone watching, or looking for something to watch? Season 2 just premiered on Showtime, and I’m so here for it. Short no spoilers summary is, the mysteries surrounding a high school girls soccer team stranded in the Canadian Rockies in 1996, who survived, how they survived, and what their lives are like present day slowly unfolds. It’s genuinely scary, has a strong women focused plot/cast, may or may not be supernatural(?), and is surprisingly funny at times. It also delivers that sweet hit of 90’s nostalgia including a killer soundtrack.Content Advisory (mild spoiler):It’s gruesome in a few places, but in particular, there’s a pregnancy in the wilderness. We don’t know what happens yet, but I’m guessing nothing good. Everything about it feels tense. If traumatic pregnancy/loss is a trigger, maybe skip this one.

Just started watching Mare Town on HBO and Next Level Chef. I’m being polite and waiting to watch the new season of Yellow Jackets with my guy. And of course the new season of The Mandolorian

That strawberry pie makes all the sense now 😭💔 Totally understandable about Hanmaid’s Tale - it is definitely rage inducing.

I’m so glad you enjoyed The Last of Us! Episode 3 😭😭😭. That strawberry pie art broke my damn heart. I’m always torn between week by week or waiting for the binge too lol. I liked Handmaid’s Tale, but my mom couldn’t watch it. She kept getting too angry lol. 😡 🤬

Im also loving Natasha Lyone in Poker Face. It’s a fun crime/mystery series with great cameos. It reminds me of a show in the 80s my grandma would watch called ‘Columbo’. It’s on nbc, streaming on peacock.

So I googled it, and this show is definitely an homage to Columbo! Found an NPR article discussing it.

Question for the mamas, when you go pregnant did you have implantation bleeding? And if so, how many days did you spot for?My period is due tomorrow but I’ve been having light spotting for the past three days, which isn’t something that happens with my period (I’ll have some a few hours before it happens). But no sore boobs or acid reflux or anything. I’m trying not to hyper focus but am somewhat failing 🤣

I had it, day or two, but honestly, I wouldn’t even call it spotting. Faaaaint pink discharge. It was a few days before my cycle was due, then nothing, then heartburn.
