TTC #2 and Period 8days Late. I need help ladies

Okay I'm 19 will be 20 in November. My SO and I have been TTC #2 for almost a year. First time we did we miscarried. My period is 8days late now and it never is. All my test come back negative expect I've had 2positive and 2negative an my doctor did a blood test and said she'd call me but she hasn't yet. And my period still isn't here. I am not under any stress at all we really want another baby since we miscarried back in January. What do you ladies think? Should I wait another week too test or could my body not be putting off enough horamoanes or what? I'm so confused ??
