Ovulation

Just wondering I had a positive LH surge Monday and Tuesday then it got lighter. I assumed therefore I ovulated Tuesday. We had sex leading up to it and Wednesday the day after. However yesterday (Thursday) I had pulling on one side and slight spotting. The previous days I had cramping. Now I’m worried this was ovulation and we had no sex.? Really trying for a baby so wondered what that could of been?
