First time using OPK/ TTC

First time TTC, First time using opk

Trying to determine if I ovulate around the 10-14 period with the understanding my cycle is ~25 days.

Initially, control line was dark instantaneously with a hardly visible test line. Tossed these in garbage and chalked it up to negatives.

Following , test line seemingly darker than control line. Began testing twice a day after seeing this. Was thinking this was a positive

However, the test line became darker than the control line

Now I’m just confused. Is my surge over ?
