Do NOT take the Panorama test

Months later and I'm being haunted by an $8000 bill for this test. I'm 28 years old and am low risk for everything genetically. My doctor told me to take this test because "even if I have a 1/800 chance to have a child with trisomy 18, if I'm that one person...then it's a 100% chance". I completely got manipulated/scared into taking a test that I did not need. Meanwhile, most of the syndromes are tested for with other tests! Now...months later... I'm being told to "not pay the bill" from the doctor who told me to get the test. But the bill isn't going away! Don't let a doctor make you get this test (if you don't have any scary risk factors). It's unnecessary and way too pricey. I'm not trying to tell you what is right and wrong...just telling you what I've learned from my expensive mistake 😐
