How many packs of baby wipes I need first months?

I wanted to buy 13 packages of 48 wet wipes each package.It is enough or it’s too little/much? I told this to another mother and she said why i need this many as she only use a pack a month. 
So do i really need less ?

You can never have too many wipes.. you will be using them for at least the first 2 years..

I got like 50 packages of wipes before my son was born. Smartest decision ever bc We used soo many! And you use them for 2 yrs + so you’ll never waste them anyways!

It's fine. My kids aren't even in diapers any more and I still use wipes. I even have a pack in the car to wipe faces and hands after the playground and before snacks. The school asks for baby wipes every year too.

Why only for the first few months? You will use wipes for at least first 2 years. Newborns have at LEAST 12 dirty diapers a day, so that’s a pack of wipes every few days. We have gone through many many boxes in 2 years.

I'm going to guess her packs of wipes are larger, otherwise she's only using 1.6 wipes per day which is impossible. If you're going fragrance free I don't see any issue stocking up, but if not I would wait to buy more than a couple packs since baby might be sensitive to it.
