What should I do?please help I'm a little worried especially since i know how bad fever is

The armpit is not accurate temperature and usually lower than rectal or oral. At this age rectal is most accurate, forehead scanner, then oral. It’s imperative you take baby’s temp correctly as it can be an emergency at this age.

That’s not a fever. And when doing under the armpit  you need to add a degree.

99.1 is not a fever. You don't need to do anything. If it goes up to or above 100.4 you need to go to the er immediately because in a baby that young a fever is an emergency
