IVF EXPERIENCE ?

Would anyone like to share their IF experiences? Im also curious to know why some women have unsuccessful results? Is it due to uterus issues? Luck? what is the difference with women whom have no uterus issues going in, compared to women who do? Is this the difference between success rates?

Answer

In my experience with IVF, we don’t know why our first two rounds didn’t work and our third round was our miracle. We did all of the routine testing as well as a mock cycle/ERA to check my uterus/FET timing and genetic testing on our embryos to make sure they were ok. All of our tests were normal/good - no issues. Ultimately, we’ve been told that our reasoning is unexplained. I’m sharing this because I’ve been really stuck on the why and that has been a huge challenge for me. Sometimes we don’t know why and the doctors can’t figure out why. I would encourage anyone in IVF treatment to ask a lot of questions, be your own advocate, and don’t be afraid to get other opinions. Also, don’t forget to take care of you - you need to be at your best, protect yourself, and give yourself grace. Best of luck to you.
