Feeling hopless

I'm 41 and my husband and I have been TTC for 5 years. We have no children and both are fine according to doctors. I've been on letrozole for 6 months and still no luck. I'm beyond frustrated and just feel like giving up. Wanting to start a family is so hard when everyone around us has babies with no problem conceiving. Does anyone else understand what this feels like? I'm terrified that we lost out on our opportunity to have a family.
