Pre-eclampsia concerns
So I had my second appointment with my OB and they noticed my BP is slightly elevated. It was 138/78.
They asked if this was normal for me and I said not exactly, I'm usually spot on 120/80.
They ran a urine test because I asked to check my sugar levels since they pulled me off my metformin and they noticed a tiny bit of protein!
So now my doctor has me on baby aspirin and says while I don't have it now, I'm at risk for preeclampsia.
Of course my panicked brain immediately googles everything about it and they say if you develop it they usually advise to induce labor early! I'm only 17 weeks!!
Has anyone else gone through this or known someone?? I'm trying not to panic my husband and told him that it's just something I'm at risk for - I don't have it currently. But I just don't know what to expect...
