Post menopausal or pregnant?

I am 49. I am 5 days late. I have little twinges in my abdomen for past 2 days like im getting period. Im like clockwork. I took test and it said negative. I have other symptoms i had with daughters like itchy scalp and dry face.         Update: still no.period. negative pregnancy test. Had friend who said tested 4 times negativeand was pregnant. I.have appointment 5/24. Hopefully i can figure out unless i get period before then

Im 43 and my cycle is mostly still very regular but has started to get funky from time to time, once or twice Ive skipped a month due to random failure to ovulate, Ive been told it's either normal or it's the beginning stages of perimenopause. Im thinking youre not pregnant. But you can test once a week or so until your next period just to be sure, if you start to notice worsening pain then call your dr.
