Stress/trauma & pp bleeding?

Can stress/trauma make you bleed more postpartum? I’m a little over 1 week pp. my husband (soon to be ex) and I got into an argument today and he got physical. I only wore one Pad today since I wasn’t really bleeding today but when I got home my whole pad was nearly filled with blood.

Keep an eye on your bleeding. I hope you and your kid(s) are in a safe place away from your ex husband. If you fill another pad in an hour, go be evaluated. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get checked out to have a paper trail of his abuse for court.

I hope you are ok! Your husband is a piece of shit for putting his hands on you.. I hood you are planning to exit being in that situation with a newborn will become very hard on you. but yes I’m 100% sure that stress can bring on more bleeding during your first 6 weeks even after honestly.

You can bleed for weeks and weeks PP so I would assume it's just that. Sometimes you will have heavier or lighter days.
