Have I been taking Yasmin plus wrong?

So I just made a post explaining how I have been taking yasmine plus for the past 4 year I think I have been taking it wrong, could someone please explain the correct way to me as I have around 19 days between periods which seems way too short and how can I get my cycle back to normal?

WOW, this pill pack is terribly confusing. Yasmin is a monophasic pill, meaning that there are 7 pills without hormones (inactive/period pills) and 21 active pills which are all the same.
You should take the 7 inactive pills in one consecutive 7 days, and then the 21 active pills, before starting the next pack with the inactive pills again. You will very likely period some time during the 7 inactive pills. This is not set in stone, but it works that way for the overwhelming majority of women. 
You can skip your period by skipping the inactive pills and starting the next pack on the 21 active pills. Here are two ways you can take i. Both have the same results and protection.
