Anyone else get diagnosed with placenta previa? My towns emergency room diagnosed me with it after some light spotting earlier in my pregnancy but my OB said he didn’t think that’s what it was, so me and my fiancé have had the okay to have sex. I’m 21 weeks and had sex today that came with some light pink spotting that’s lasting for about 20 minutes so far, I called my OBs office and his nurse told me that I in fact do have placenta previa and should be on pelvic rest. Which would have been nice to know at my 20 week check up when I specifically asked if my placenta was low lying and she made it sound like everything’s fine. Now I’m terrified I hurt my baby, this will be my first child after a MMC a couple years ago. I can feel her moving and the spotting is very light pink, please anyone who’s been through this have any advice? I’ve already told my fiancé there will be no more sex until she’s here in our arms especially since the doctors in this town don’t know how to give a straight diagnosis. Please any advice would be more appreciated then you know 🙏😣
