Uti question

I’ve been having uti like symptoms before I even found out, like before even ovulation. They symptoms come and go. Went to the OB to check it out today and she said no uti but they will send it off for a culture. I said well it’s not the pregnancy because I was dealing with this before. So she prescribed amoxicillin to see if it helps. Has anyone taken that in early pregnancy?? I read online there’s a chance it could cause clef pallet problems in early pregnancy so now I’m torn and have no idea what’s going on!
