Should I Tell him he gave me BV?

Hey girlies,
I had a one night stand with this guy, really unplanned. 
I don’t really know him like that but we exchanged contact. 
So, I just found out I had BV and I got it from him (he’s the first I’ve been with in over a year) like a day after my vagina started smelling and I got bumps.
Should I inform him of this? If yes, How?

Bv could of happened from anything don’t tell him because it’ll seem like your blaming him and he’s not to be blamed , his semen could of made your ph balance all wonky and you got bv from an off ph balance so he necessarily didn’t give it to you

Bv can be caused from a lot. My bf used to touch me a lot, and I think his hands weren’t the cleanest and I’d get bv every time. So I just told him only touch me with clean hands. I haven’t gotten it since. He wasn’t mad when told him. I used to get it from sex with my ex, I think he also just wasn’t clean 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’d say just communicate with him, but don’t blame him for it bc it can be caused from a lot. It’s a bacterial infection.

I would tell him simply because of the fact that it is possible for him to have bacteria that he transmitted to you that caused BV for you.￼ Just tell him that you have just been diagnosed with BV and that he may want to get checked for bacteria. ￼
