BLOODY SHOW OR MUCUS PLUG? 39 weeks 5 days today

I had a membrane sweep last Wednesday, woke up to this on Thursday morning. Since then, I’ve had lots of mucusy discharge and that’s about it. Today, Wednesday of the next week, I had another membrane sweep. I went to the toilet feeling like I needed to poop, but all that came out was a long string of mucus that stayed connected from my vag to the toilet water. It just seemed like thick mucus, and just looked like discharge and not what I would think a mucus plug would look like when I wiped. So I’m super confused. I’m 3 cm dilated, 50% effaced. Booked in to have my water broken at 40+6, next Thursday, if nothing happens before then.
