I’m turning 42 and wondering if I should try for another child
I had my first born at 40. My partner has been wanting another child but he wants it to be my decision because I am the one who has to carry the child and bear all the pain. I do want to give my child a sibling but I’m worried if we would be able to make it. We both work full time, stable job and somewhat comfortable. It is just the two of us here, no family so we rotate days that we work from home so one of us would always be with our kid. I have not experienced how much the child care would be but I know that they are very expensive in my area.
I am debating everyday if we should have another child or I should be happy with just one. Considering my age and how expensive everything is nowadays, could anyone help enlighten me from your experience if you would prefer an only child or give your child siblings?
