Please help

So I’ve been on my birth control for over a year now. Every month i get a light period. I take the pill everyday at the same time. I am sexually active with my bf and he usually cums in a condom, or my mouth, or on my chest (or whatever body part). Last month, i had symptoms (bloating,cramping, pimples, etc) but i didn’t get a period. I had brown discharge only. I felt like i was bleeding but i just had brown discharge. Now I’m in the middle of a new pack and I’m cramping and worrying about why it never came, i don’t start the placebo pills till May 28th. I’m scared to take a test and a lot of people are telling me I’m just worrying and stressing. But these cramps are throwing me off and now I’m nervous.
