Induction

I’m thinking of scheduling an induction if my Dr gives the Ok. I’m 38 weeks and don’t think I can go on much longer. Has anyone been induced and delivered unmedicated? The one thing stopping me from asking is I’ve heard being induced makes the contractions worse and this will be my first vaginal birth, I had a C-section with my first. I am sooo nervous, and wanting a successful unmedicated natural birth 😭.
