Dilated cervix

I had a HSG this afternoon. When they went to try and put the catheter in, they couldn't get it in my dr had to use a dialate my cervix. I will say that was pretty awful. They got they got the dye in and it flowed the way it's supposed to. I asked the dr if the fact my cervix was so tight could be part of the problem with ttc. She is not my usual gyno but said she dilated it and sleep will have no trouble getting through. My question is. Will this dialation go away and make me narrow again? I have my follow up Monday but was just curios.
