Breast milk refusal ?

I have a 4 day old and I started to exclusively pump/ supplement with formula as needed ….yesterday he wouldnt drink a bottle of my breast milk…. I switched to a bottle of formula and he drank it instantly . Has this ever happened to anyone ??

I'd be better to nurse if you can. It can be challenging at the beginning, but if you continue to give the baby formula, your body will start decreasing the production. There will be some breastfeeding crisis (at 6 weeks, 3 months, ...) when your body won't produce enough for the baby's demand and your baby will be very clingy, but it's normal, your body will eventually produce more. 
As I said, if you can, just nurse the baby. You will save money on formula and your baby will very likely get less sick than the other babies.
