Setting Boundaries

Okay mommas! I’m a first time mom. My boyfriend’s family is causing issues for my pregnancy.

His mom keeps referring to it as “her baby” and saying I don’t matter and only the baby does. It feels as though she only sees me as a vessel for this child and not a human.

Anyways, today I posted on Facebook asking that once our baby girl is born, please do not kiss on her until she has built up an immunity. His grandma commented, “I’m kissing her.”. Am I wrong for being so upset? My boyfriend sees nothing wrong with it but I am just livid. I asked nicely for the safety of my daughter that we hold off with kisses and they instantly go to that. It makes me upset.

I guess I’m just wondering if I’m in the wrong here or not. I just want my baby girl to be safe and healthy.

If she does disobey my wishes, how would I handle that?! Ugh.
