Impossible to feel sick already… right?

I am 7weeks 3 days postpartum. My husband and I screwed up and had sex unprotected at exactly the 6 week mark. And the day after that. But I also started my patch birth control that same day. Yesterday I started gagging and feeling like I needed to throw up. Today I feel the same way and like there’s something in my throat. I felt exactly like this with my first pregnancy except it started at 5-6 weeks. We only had sex eleven days ago and I haven’t started my period yet so there’s no way I’m pregnant right? I don’t think a pregnancy test would even pick it up

Depends when you ovulated but having unprotected sex 6 weeks after giving birth, you can absolutely get pregnant. You're very fertile after having a baby.

Depends on when you ovulated! If you were ovulated on the day you had sex, that would make you 10-11 DPO today, and an early result pregnancy test should be able to detect HCG if you are pregnant.

I was feeling nauseous at 9DPO and got a positive the next day so you absolutely could be pregnant. I’d do a test

Why don’t you think you could be pregnant? You ovulate before a period. That’s how you have a period. A period is a result of an unfertilized egg. 
It all depends when or if you ovulated. And yes it would be way to early for any symptoms anyway if you were pregnant. Just wait a couple weeks before testing.

Unprotected sex is how babies are made. Why would you think it’s impossible…?

Of course you could be pregnant…. Why don’t you think you can’t get pregnant? Your most fertile after a baby so you could 100% be pregnant you don’t need your period back after a baby to get pregnant.
