Are your babies/toddlers comfortable with their grandparents?

My daughter is hesitant when my MIL/FIL are around. She sees them 2x a month, sometimes more, but she’s still not comfortable for the first hour even when I am there. ￼They’re loud and boisterous so I know that’s part of it. How am I supposed to leave her with them when she’s not comfortable?

Well that’s why cause she’s not used to being around them. My sons were like that with my mil since they would hardly see her too, but are super close and comfortable around my parents. You just have to be around a little more

I would give it time and wait until she’s comfortable. I wouldn’t force it by leaving her alone. If they’re loud and boisterous, could be scary for her.

He’s stressed at first when they come over (he’s autistic) but he warms up in about ten mins. Honestly everyone but my mil brings bad energy into the house lol

If my baby not comfortable I never leave them. This is just me. I don’t let my kids stay no where they going to be screaming and crying.

My daughter's grandparents (her dad's parents) live in another state over an 11 hour drive. They don't see her much maybe once a year. My fil is a registered sex offender I won't let him see her now that she is 2. My daughter sees my dad a lot they both love each other her grandma( my mom) passed before my daughter was born.

My first one was. In periods, usually leaps she wasn't however. Past two years she's been overall comfortable with the closets one.
My youngest is still a baby and has only begun accepting dad. Everyone else is a hard pass.

I say its ok this is your x grandparent and stay with them until baby is comfortable. Eventually they become comfortable
