Breast feeding questions

So pregnant with my 4th I breastfed my last but couldn’t get on with pumping which wasn’t a huge issue as hubby was away (is military) so pretty much doing alone didn’t introduce bottle till about 9 months or so.

This time round my living situation is different loved about 1.5 hours away from my ex dad to my two older children so I drive up and down to drop of the kids every Friday. (He drops home Sunday) but on a Friday can take 5 hours in traffic. So will need to pump or will be really uncomfortable. More to the point can’t be dragging newborn up and down country each week so will need to pump and leave bottles for hubby.

My question is when there is very mixed messages some say need to wait till milk supply is established before introducing bottles as baby may reject the breast. Others says do it straight away? Any advise be greatly appreciated. Also which pump would be best?
