Ovulation predictor kits can be useful in detecting ovulation. How do you use them? How accurate are they in predicting ovulation?

You need to get cheap opks and test 2 days after your period 2 Times a day till both lines are the same color or test line is darker than control whatever comes first is your positive ovulation can occur in 12- 48 hours after positive. Opks don’t confirm ovulation or dpo so you need to add bbt to confirm ovulation you temp your cycle. 
You need a bbt thermometer that reads like 97.45. Pick a time in the am to take your temp when you know you have at least 3 hours of sleep. Temp at that same time each am before your move or get out of bed and stay within 30 mins of that time you picked. 
You’re looking for lower temps before ovulation and higher after.  It doesn’t have to be for when you get up for the day. I temp at 5:20 pee and go back to sleep. 
 BBT confirm ovulation to know when you ovulated, dpo, luteal phase length (is from the day after ovulation to period which stays the same each cycle give or take 1-2 days. Average length is 12-14 days give or take 1-2 days.) when period is coming by temp drop or if you miss your period and your temp stays up then there is a chance for pregnancy
