What are the benefits of having multiple ultrasound scans during pregnancy? And are there any potential risks associated with it?

I’m high risk so with all 4 of my kids born in the us.(1 wasnt) I get US every two weeks hasn’t caused any issue

6w, 8w, 9w and have another one on the 13th but I am high risk and see an MFM

I scan every month with my doc and besides that I did the 3 d scan at 13 w and anatomy scan is next week at 21 w . In my country the hospitals do every month check with ultrasound . I asked if there are any damage for the baby with all these scans and they said the scans are sure no need to worry

6w,12w,20w… and had a growth scan for reduced fetal movement at 34w just to be safe

I was scanned weekly until induction by MFM, neonatal cardiologist and then my routine scans. We were watching my son for heart failure and blood flow as well as placental failure. The benefit is he was delivered alive and we could ensure he was safe. There are no known negatives or risks to ultrasounds (can cause tissue to warm in long term use)
