Leaving 1 year old in sunday school

My little boy is 13 months old now and hasn't been left with a family member, babysitter etc since he was 3 months old. We are wanting to take him to sunday school but dont know how he will handle it. We have taken him to baby and toddler time at our local library a couple of times but haven't left him with other children. How do we go about it? The nursery volunteers text the parents if something were to go wrong. And its only about an hour to an hour and a half.
