When mother was around

Hi guys, just wondering, does anybody have the same experience where your kids acting up the second mothers walk into the room?

My daughter (3.5 yo) always does this. She will be such an angel when she was alone with only her father or grandparents, but the second she meets me, she will throw tantrums, or acting up and being unreasonable like crying or screaming, or getting angry, kicking and many more.

I am not sure why, but I read some articles that she does all of these because she is comfortable around me and she can be herself, but still, it makes me depressed or sometimes I want to cry because she testing my limits.

Any other ideas or maybe experiences or tips that you can share with me? Thank you so much :)
