2.5 year old frequently complains of tummy ache

Janet

So back in may, my 2.5 year old started to say "my tummy hurts" i didnt think much of it until he spiked a fever. Turns out he had strep throat. He got antibiotics and got all better. But ever sense then he still randomly says "my tummy hurts" we thought at first that it was his mouth hurting because his molars were coming in and he just didnt understand where the pain was coming from. So we worked with him on saying "my mouth hurts." Well all his teeth are through now and he will still randomly say his tummy hurts but now just recently also started randomly saying "my mouth hurts" i am getting a little concerned with how often he has been saying it, but i also find it odd because he never holds his tummy like he is pain, he acts completely normal, he eats well, he pees and poops regularly with no issues. I am not sure what to think at this point because my mommy instinct wants to take him seriously, but my logic is saying there is nothing else wrong so he probably just says it to be saying it. We were in walmart today and he was riding in the cart when he randomlystarted saying "my tummy hurts" multiple times in a row. He did kind of start to whine about it. But then he was fine. He was in his room watching paw patrol perfectly content the other day and i was using the restroom when he came out of his room to tell me his tummy hurt. I acknowledged that he said it and he went back to his room, again perfectly fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what to think about this? Its starting to become more frequent and has now added my mouth hurts as well.
