What are the pros and cons of prenatal genetic testing?

Hi everyone! I'm currently considering prenatal genetic testing and wanted to gather some insights. What are your thoughts on the pros and cons of these tests? Let's have a friendly discussion and help each other make informed decisions.

The only cons are the "false positives". The results are a ratio, and can be inaccurate. We always get it done though. It wouldn't change anything for us, but its always good to be prepared.

They only look for certain, most common trisomies (13,18,21) and sex chromosome illnesses.  You can’t catch everything and our most heartbreaking experience was that our daughter’s NIPT was perfect, but she didn’t develop properly and had abnormalities not compatible with life.  Afterwards, we tested her complete genetic microarray, and it was still perfect.  Some switch went wrong during development.  It might give false reassurance
