Epidural

This is my second pregnancy (first one ended in a miscarriage) and I've been obsessed with watching all different videos on birth and whatnot. After watching a TON of videos I decided that I want to do a natural birth with no medication, and that if possible I'd even like to go to a birthing center. Every time I tell someone this I just get all this negative feedback from them saying there's no way I could possibly give birth without medication, and that I don't understand how bad it'll hurt, my mother even went as far as to say that she's going to be waiting to say I told you so when I ask for it and all this is just driving me crazy, I need them to be there for me not putting me down. Anyone else having this issue?
